Pittsburgh Trip

Just got back from the ANA show. I got there late Thursday due to traveling in from a business trip. The overwhelming number of interesting coins lead me to want to buy even if I don't really need the coins. I picked up two Jeffs in Pr67 (1938 and 1939) from ROMA Coin. Sounds like Keets beat me to the high level Jeffs.
I got a 1961 Pr68Dcam Lincoln from R&I that is a plate coin from one of the cameo books. The Lincoln was resubmitted for regrade with hopes of a 69dcam. The cent is caked with frosting. Paid a premium for the legacy of the coin within 'the' books on cameos.
Got a Pr64 Cam 1940 Jeff from Segoja earlier and submitted for regrade. It looks 66Cam with strong contrast. David Hall looked at it briefly and thought it might upgrade.
The Registry luncheon had excellent food. It was fun seeing who are the other collectors. David Hall did a good job of answering questions on the registry, grading times, coin price guides, etc.
Zaps Coins had a great looking 1955 Wash Pr67Dcam. I'm still thinking about that one.
I bought a 1951 Franklin Pr65Dcam from Heritage. Couldn't hang with the 1950 Franklin in Pr67 Cam for $20k. Just missed getting a 1942 Pr66Cam Jeff. Who bought it?
Displays of the 1913 V Nickel, 1794 SP $1 and Seated Liberty Coins at PCGS were great.
