I like to collect a few of this and a couple of that. I always thought half-dimes to be underated, but they have been underated for 100 years. What short series do you guys recommend?. I just purchased a couple of key Type III $20 Libs and I may be looking in another direction.
Please help me - I'm lost and directionless!

There's no need to avoid a series just because they are perpetually underrated, if you think they would be fun to dig into. When I returned to coin collecting after a long hiatus, I wanted to avoid series that could be heavily promoted. I turned to Barber Dimes in better circulated grades. Once I had completed two sets and couldn't easily afford very many more upgrades, another collector wrote to me that he couldn't think of what to give me for a Christmas present. One of his friends said that "Barber collectors need something else to collect".
He gave me a book on 2 cent piece varieties and a couple great starter coins. I'm beginning to dig in this series, which I expect will be underrated for another 100 years, but nice and short.
