Just what the Washington series need, now that some prices seem to be softening.

    Send those tags in! image
    FULL Heads RULE!
  • was at the Pittsburgh ANA show and was told PCGS would pay .50c for each tag

  • PCGS always pays 50 cents for a tag.

I wish more people would turn in their cracked out tags that way the prices do not soften up.

The price of the 1932-D is going thru the roof, out of the 50 in the pop I've handed 6 in the last 2 months.

I currently have 3 up for sale, and one I'm keeping is suspect of being a 66.

Dont worry if it does get to a 66 I'll turn in my 65 insert, I need the 50 cents.. image

  • Yes Russ,

Good point you have almost 26,000 to my 336 posts

I think you're the one with mental problems.

By the way thanks for your support.
  • Damn that was 335 this is 336.

Russ, imagine you dedicating the 8-9 hours a day you spend reading and responding to all these posts to actually sell whatever it is you sell, you would not be living in your cardboard box in WA.

I spend an average of about 10 minutes a day, in my opinion that's way too much time for me to be here.

I just do it for shiits and giggles, my tiny 336 posts have created a nice stir, and for the most part people find it entertaining. image

True. You very quickly became the forum laughingstock and the butt of derisive jokes. Yes, you are indeed "entertaining".

Tell me Russ what have you sold lately?

I've seen your slab thing things, they suck, poorly made Korean junk.

Want to sell me some so I can put them in with the Junk set I just got on eBay.

I give them away for free.

WOW I'm up to $200+ on the junk set, maybe there is money selling junk coins.

You know, this is getting really old really fast. But I do appreciate you making those of us with merely rather large egos look quite normal in comparison.

An awful lot of the 20th century stuff has gotten spuriously high pops for the second-to-top grades, as people keep resubmitting looking for the pop top. We all know a lot of the second tier graded items in the pop reports are really tags in a drawer.

A few guys I'm sure hang on to tags to influence the pops to their advantage, but I'm sure most of us just figure they'll get around to it and turn those tags in one of these days, and just haven't done it.

As is so often the case, Mr. Platitude, you are wrong. There was a time when PCGS stopped paying a tag bounty. If I recall correctly, PCGS stated that they were paying out too much money each month for the tags and could not afford to continue. Currently however, they do pay.
