Hey,
Tried out the PSA/DNA service for the first time and I have to say that I was very impressed. Quick service and the 3X5 cards were really nicely encapsulated. The '74 Fleer Immortal Roll card is floating a bit, but it is an odd shape and I can live with it. Received the cards back in about 2 weeks...plus they have lowered their prices for most players.
Without further ado....here are the latest additions to my HOF collection:
NFL HOFers
Bought a lot of HOF autographed 3X5's from a guy who lives in Canton for about $50....now that they are being authenticated it looks like a great deal. Still have Mel Hein, Morris "Red" Badgro, and Coach Weeb Ewbank to submit to PSA/DNA. Let me know what you think - I think they are nice examples of their sigs. Always looking for HOF cuts and 3X5's if anyone has any others to sell/trade. I am getting to the point where I am really chasing just the players who have been deceased for 20+ years.

Nice autos ! Some of those guys are no longer with us.
Can barely make out that Vic auto.
Is it as hard to see in person as it is in the scan ?
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
Thanks....I thought my first 4 PSA/DNA submissions turned out pretty good - Doak Walker, Tom Fears, George Musso, and Red Grange. Unless I am mistaken...they all passed away at least a few years ago.
As for the Vick, it actually looks better in person....but I am with you....I hate those silver stickers that Sage uses. Looks horrible when scanned. I was waiting for 3rd and 4th year auto's of Vick to be released so that I could pick a nicer one up at a decent price....

Thanx for sharing - the Red Grange is really cool.
I have joined but have procrastinated in submitting.
I just bought an auto from Coach's Corner and they are giving me a 21 day window for return - so I will have to move fast!

Thanks guys...I'm excited. I have a couple more that I plan to submit now. Most of my other HOF cards are certified from the card companies and I have multiple examples so I feel fine about not having them authenticated. With the players who were deceased before the Swell and Honor Roll cards existed...I think 3X5's seems to be the most cost efficient way to go.
In terms of the set registry, it would be nice but I am fine with just having them all scanned to my MSN site and a checklist hanging on my office corkboard with the names of who I have left:>}. Some day I will find a nice way to display them all in alphabetical order.....
