argghh...

i hate ignorant ebayers..

i hate it when an ebayer asks a question like "Why is your shipping soooooooooooooooo high?" on a matchbook (mickey mantle matchbook i started at 99cents bid/2.95 s&h - as i do all my cards)..

in the meantime, dipsh!t is the HIGH BIDDER on my auction.. i responded to his question with a short "its a shipping AND handling fee, and the cost is reasonable considering the time and care i take in packaging"..

now i get this stupid response back..

I can't........it has been on your item too long.....you have to do
it....I
WILL NOT PAY YOUR SHIPPING FOR A SIMPLE PACK OF MATCHES.

what the? what does that mean? "it has been on your item too long" ? this is the first time ive listed the damn matchbook, if thats what he means..

im just venting some rage..

edit - he would probably pay somebody $20 if they would ship the cards for "free" rather than pay $10 and $2.95 shipping..

Maybe it's just late, but I laughed so hard I almost shot Mountain Dew out my nose... image

Anyway PA, I'd just cancel his bid, and then block him. Very simple. He's a moron and you shouldn't have to deal with him. I've done that before...He'll love sending you another email once he realizes he's been blocked, because he WILL try to bid again. Then respond with the short circuit response. You...moron...I can't...too stupid....

  • I would just say okie dokie.. Sent me $1 for shipping and I'll toss it in a regular envelope and throw it in the regular mail.

I hate cheap people.. I mean when I buy something off ebay I ask how much for express post and pay whatever and I'm by no means 'well off'

I agree....cancel his bid(s), block him; and block his email because you'll get another stupid question "why you block it me.....no bid, it's gone...." blah blah blah.

    It's probably this guy here.

    lol.. that is funny..

i figured i'd block his a$$ and cancel his bids.. i havent done anything yet, and the auction still has several days to go, so i'm gonna respond to him tomorrow..

    screw him..

  • I wouldn't cancel his bid, but I would politely tell him that if he doesn't like the S&H terms to retract his bid. If he doesn't and ends up winning, he's had lots of warning.
  • i wouldn't cancel his bid neither. let him retract, ebay hates continuous retracting, i think you can only do like 3 in 6 months or something. then if he doesn't pay hit em with a NPBW, after 3 of those bad boys, he's gone for good. he placed the bid, he know's what the terms are. block his address from your email, but let him go through with the auction. cheap azz bugger!!!
