Wondering About the BST Form.

I'm just wondering if the BST Forum is the best place to make offers to purchase coins. So much there seems to be offers to sell or advertising that leads to e-Bay. For my part, I have particular requests to buy certain Morgans to further my set and I feel that I get lost in the noise over at the BST Forum. Would it be a problem to make my requests to buy HERE, on the U.S. Coin Forum? In any case, I have enjoyed lurking around here for the past year after my 18 year hiatus from working on my Morgans.
Thanks,
Bud

Yep, the BST forum is the correct place for offers to buy. In your thread title try to clearly state what coins you are looking for. You'll get better results. Also, if you don't get any action right away, just bump the thread once a day to get exposure.

Just make a thread with WTB morgans...then list the dates, and grades , and price you want to pay. Send the message to the top (ttt) once a day. You wont get lost in the forum then, and you will prob. get a quick offer if your requests are reasonable. Very trustworthy people on the BST

You can also request in your post for people to PM their wares to you, that way the offerings will come to you and you won't have to be constantly checking-in on the BST forum.

I've had real good luck both buying Morgans for my set and selling my dupes. Give it a try, there are quite of few of us who collect Morgans that keep an eye on that board.

What dates/grades are you looking for?
  • I have purchased many coins from member here on the BST forum. If you have any questions about someone, I have found that they expect you to check with other board memebers as to their integrity. I have had no problems to this point and will be more than glad to give reference about anyone I have purchased from.

Again thanks to all of the memebers that have sold me wonderful coins at a fair price
