Not sure. I only need the 1909-S to complete my set of XF-AU IHCs. I've also started aggressively working on a type set. Will I decide to keep the IHC set long-term? Will I eventually sell them to fund the building of my type set?

Truthfully, as of now I don't know.

Enjoy the digital pics now and then while the set hangs out in the bank box, mostly. Definitely keep long enough for children, nefs & nieces to enjoy. Upgrade when possible. Kick down rejects to aforementioned children. Maybe sell if needed when college tuition comes due, or leave as option for kids when they are broke after graduation (needed to tap this myself, when that was me). Pass on at least something; some of my collection is 4th generation in my family. The only thing older to us that we've got is my great-great-grandfather's draw knife (he was a carpenter).

No such thing as complete with me. Especially since I don't work on sets. Just buy nice coins as I find them.

Continue to upgrade it and add to it. I plan to keep it and pass it on as a family heirloom. Hopefully at least one family member will continue the upgrading and adding nicer coins or even starting a second set.

Once I am finished, if ever, I will likely buy duplicates/upgrades. I just don't have a big interest in any other series.
