You can't start a thread like this without a giveaway.

  • How about that ring?
  • I have not received any coin from a giveaway, so i don't want to do one yet.
I think I will have one at 5000.

Still, congrats on 1000. I'm coming pretty close on 10000! I wonder what title I'll give myself?
  • Congrats on the 1000, not to be mean but try to make the 5000 meaningful coin related questions, opinions, and answers, you'll feel good then. Another note it doesn't matter what you give away, everything is appreciated, its that you gave it away.image

    There is no requirement.
The reason most expect it is the way you posted in a new thread about reaching a posting milestone.
to have been here for an entire month and hit 1000 means there is a lot of (likely) meaningless cheat posting going on.
If you watch a lot of others post about hitting posting milestones, they do it as a pretext to a giveaway. Not necessary, but they want to.

So, don't do a giveaway if you don't want. But also understand that post count really doesn't mean diddly. A lot of higher post counter people don't know much and aren't helpful.
A lot of low post count people are pretty smart and their posts are very informative.

    To each their own
