  • Sheesh, from the spelling and phrasing you would think that it's a 8 year old kid posting that second auction.

  • I'd say phone the Scumnuker right away but..........

This is getting so common maybe those bidders do need a hard lesson in coin buying.
I recognize one of the bidders on the phony. He bid on another scam that was posted here.
    Perhaps a case of greed???

  • I don't defend scumbags, but neither do I condemn the innocent. Understand that someone who hasn't the faintest idea how to get a picture up on EBay may just know how to "use" someone else's pic to help advertise their own coin that is for sale. That would seem like a perfectly innocent thing for a noob to do. However experienced that person is at selling merchandise electronically, we must always beware of the scammers, but ask questions before condemning, get all the facts so that innocent ones are not harmed.

It would seem that someone with such great gold coins could find someone with knowledge enough to put an original picture up for them. This Popeye dude, is he a shill? I hate unanswered questions, don't you?

    Oh pleaseimage

The combination of the identical pics, zero feedback just-registered seller, and auction terms make this the quintessential scam auction.

I didn't condem anyone just raised a question. Coin looks like same to me and both ANACS NET AU50?? With only 554 minted??? If he's using someone else's photo he should disclose that and by the way I don't agree with using someone else photo period. I have had that happen to me on ebay, where the buyer was reselling my coin before he paid or received my coin.
