Beware of this coin...

Charles the Bald penny

It just has that wrong look to it - and if you look closely at the reverse it is stamped with an "R", probably for "Reproduction". I see that some of the bidders have not noticed that... I have sent the seller an email so let's see what he has to say.

    I have learned from more experienced collectors that this is a reproduction, not an authentic coin. Current bidders will not be held to their bids. My apologies to all. Want to be very honest about my mistake here.

    At least it wasn't a scam.

    That was great! He even sent me an email thanking me for the information. That's my kind of seller.

    I just feel sorry for him if he bought the coin as genuine. It would have been pretty expensive image

    Those people are wonderful sellers. We need more people like that on ebay.
