PCI Graded PR70 DCAM Silver Eagles

Bought 12 of these for a "Pretty Penny" all with this grade. What are your opinions on PCI and what's a "Fair Price" for this set? New to collecting and hope I didn't jump big too fast.

PCI does not have a stellar opinion from these boards. I feel they would be worth only slightly more than bullion value. But that is just my opinion.

On the positive side, they're probably not too overgraded, as most modern proofs are at least in the neighborhood of 69DCAM.

They'll probably go 69DCAM tops at NGC or PCGS... then again, pay the grading fee, lose the point, and it's not worth it. Most proof eagles are worth around $30-$50 or so... with a few key dates.

As was said, we don't think highly of PCI around here... or NTC, to name another company

Assuming they are in the PCI gold colored slabs, the value would be roughly what an unslabbed Proof eagle would bring in the gov't packaging.

In this case, I think it would bring a little less--I'd assume more people would prefer the original holders to PCI
