Slooooow...

I know that PCGS is slow grading and have read a number of threads regarding this. But I joined the collectors club on July 31 and still have not received my package. When I placed my order, it said "please allow seven days for us to process your order". Then I received an email from them that said "please allow 7 - 10 days for order processing". Geez! This is 2004! I recently ordered a computer part and it was shipped 1 hour and 36 minutes after I placed the order...and from a company that ships over 12,000 orders per day! Whats up with PCGS? I find this absolutely unacceptable.

I agree, I find this to be their number one complaint and they seem to be doing little to improve it. Then again, if you pay them more.........

  • But this is a collectors club new packet order! They should have them sitting there ready to ship. I ordered online so there is not even any paperwork for anyone to do!

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • Here's a challenge for ya...
Can anyone name a company that is SLOWER than PCGS? I can't think of one: not Sears, not USPS, not even the cable guy!

I just got an email back from their customer service department regarding my collectors club new member packet and they say it was mailed yesterday (checks in the mail?). If that is true, it only took them EIGHTEEN days to simply mail a package. I thought I heard they were trying to improve!

Sorry for the rant...I just cannot accept this...at least not in 2004.

Have you tried calling them on the phone? It's toll-free.

Would that speed up my very simple order?

Someone has never dealt with Time Warner Cable in Houston. image

You're right...I haven't. I just thought that the cable guy here in Alabama would be about the slowest anywhere!

Those are calendar "work" days. Weekends and days at the ANA don't count. Add a few weeks and you'll get the service you thought you'd receive. Not enough graders and not enough time in a day to grade everything that they receive in one day for grading.

    Good luck.
