ouch!........now that is going to leave a mark.

    Sorry about the bad results.
  • Marty - I share your pain. My crackouts of NGC MS 66 Lincoln wheats have a cross at the same grade success rate of about one out of three. And these are just the ones I crack 'cause I think they'll cross - lower ones for the grade get sold back on ebay.

The crackout game can be very financially rewarding, but it's not easy!

I figured I might get some MS65s, but I figured them all for FB coins. They were all NGC FT coins and they are usually very good at the designation.

I agree my latest Roosevelt experience was not much fun either. I sent in ten or so end roll coins and several were body bagged for ATimage and the ones that did grade did rather poorly. mike
  • I have to agree with all of the above

  • MadMarty,

I've got a 1955-D 10c in at PCGS that I expect to go FB. What does that one go for? Do you know? I think mine will end up 65, maybe 66.

    Thanks!

    Now you tell usimage

    Marty,
Same thing happen to me on a submission...sent four in for cross each an NGC MS67 or NGC MS66FB and of the four 3 did not cross. Silly me, should have cracked em out. Guess they don't like those NGC holders.
