first submission to NGC

Hi gang,

been a little busy but thought I would let you know the results of my first submission to NGC. (Already used my PCGS with 5 morgans). SUbmitted the five free moderns using a 64proof set. I know I have never dealt with Russ but ater reaing these forum i felt good to finaly get a 1964 PF66 AH.
Kinda disapointed in those and will give grades if asked but I was happier about these. The 1883 has quite a bit of doubling and I paid extra to have it checked ut it did not come back different so I guess doubling on this year is quite common. The 43 P wa part of a set form the famous grading company SGS and i thought it had doubling on it as well. (didn't work out. Tried to get help on the iagonstics for this in a mesage ut not much response and I figured what the heck. I threw in the morgan i misplaced it after buying it in indiana whle working and found it geing ready to move.

I bought the morgan, the buffalo the barber dime and the mercury for $100 total raw. I did not do too bad on them . Of course now i have a 43 P nickel with a value of about $3.00. I think i paid 14 dollars for the three of them so oh well. They are for keeping not selling so I like them.

When I get them back i will post pics.

1883 no cents MS 62

Maybe not the highest grades but it'a good learning experience on what PCGS looks for. The Buffalo and the Morgan graded out rather nice though- post some pictures when you get them back. Lot's of unlisted varieties in the shield nickel series as well and I don't believe PCGS will recognize any unlisted varieties. mike image

odd assortment to certify, isn't it? just does'nt sound like something worth slabing.
