Hi gang,
been a little busy but thought I would let you know the results of my first submission to NGC. (Already used my PCGS with 5 morgans). SUbmitted the five free moderns using a 64proof set. I know I have never dealt with Russ but ater reaing these forum i felt good to finaly get a 1964 PF66 AH.
Kinda disapointed in those and will give grades if asked but I was happier about these. The 1883 has quite a bit of doubling and I paid extra to have it checked ut it did not come back different so I guess doubling on this year is quite common. The 43 P wa part of a set form the famous grading company SGS and i thought it had doubling on it as well. (didn't work out. Tried to get help on the iagonstics for this in a mesage ut not much response and I figured what the heck. I threw in the morgan i misplaced it after buying it in indiana whle working and found it geing ready to move.
I bought the morgan, the buffalo the barber dime and the mercury for $100 total raw. I did not do too bad on them . Of course now i have a 43 P nickel with a value of about $3.00. I think i paid 14 dollars for the three of them so oh well. They are for keeping not selling so I like them.
When I get them back i will post pics.
