Maybe they are judging how well the card is centered in the holder. Looks 50-50 in both directions.

This isn't even Bench's rookie card. I'm just "shocked, shocked" that this "Graded Rookies Authenticated" which from their name implies that they only grade rookie cards, would make an error such as this considering their "spectacular" job of giving this card a Gem Mint 10.
