Anyone else seeing a weird die break off the date on the 2004-S proof penny?

Got my little package from the mint today. The silver proof set is a mixed bag. The nickels are cool. The Wisconsin quarter has a cow and cheese on it. There is streaky brown schmutz on the Sac dollar and white spots on the Kennedy. I'm hanging onto it because the penny has a very bold raised line running diagonally down off the date to the bust, and I'm hoping maybe that'll turn into something there's only 2,000 of and everybody will want someday. If I sent the set back for a cleaner one, I might get back a normal penny. Anyone else seen this?
I also got my Lewis & Clark dollar, which is already on the way back to the fulfillment center. It had rim scuffs on both sides, major obverse luster breaks, large specks of dirt on it in at least three places, and a semicircular scratch about the size of a pencil eraser in one of the fields. Needless to say, not pleasing.
So, I have to concur with those who say quality control is a little off lately; previous years' stuff has looked better on arrival.
