I can understand why, that's a super lion coin.

  • I love the token, but the AE looks AT to me.........I have seen the exact same toning come from heating these things up and then adding a little sulfer to the surface. That's not to say it is, but that was my first impression. image

Still a nice looking coin either way!!!
  • That token kicks butt!!

  • Yes that is the Lion you wanted to add to your webpage, This one is a little better that the image I posted earlier. This one is fuly struck up.

The silver eagle is naturally toned, or at least I didn't do anything intentionally to cause it to tone like that. It was blast white when I got it in Sept of 98. It came to me in a white paper bag at a coin club meeting. I didn't care anything about it so when I got home I just tossed the bag on the kitchen counter. In Sept of 2003 while cleaning up the kitchen I was throwing things out and picked up the bag to toss it. It was heavy so It looked inside and found THAT! (By the way I still have that bag. image I don't have anything in it though.)

    Cosmic, SUPER images.

    Two things here Mike:

    1. Clean your kitchen more often

    &

    2. For God's sake man put something else in that bag!!!!!

You're welcome conder101. And thanks for the compliments on the images. I actually surprised myself at how good they came out. I love this digital SLR. I never would have captured the colors on the SAE without it.
