eBay Scam Alert !

image

I was searching on eBay using the key words "half cent pcgs" and two listings come up ( 3926009084 and 3925743670 ) which are virtually identical listings. Upon checking out the two auctions, this seller " rarecoinmtg " really catches my attention. Not only does he have zero feedbacks but he also uses no pictures and his inventory is " About 700 miles away ".

Well here's the entire disclaimer :

This auction is for exactly what is said in title including the number of said. My grandfather recently passed and my grandmother has asked me to sell off his store's inventory, because she is passed the work age.I do not know much of anything about coins or magic the gathering so please keep questions to a minimum. Also i will be on leave the last 2 day's of the auction and the day after. There are no picture's because all item's are at my grandmother's.About 700 miles away. All i have is an inventory list with names ,dates, condition, and some info.
Shipment will be when all money is received in full.most items should be recieved in 4 business days. The inventory consisted of over 10,000 magic rares,2,300 rare coins, video equipment, beanie babies, and various other collectibles.I WILL NOT EXCEPT OUT OF AUCTION OFFERS BECAUSE OF LEGAL ISSUES.So bids only. Not responsible for loss in shipping. Please insure.I have been on ebay before years ago with 250 positive feedback and no neg.Thank you,I will contact winning bidder at auctions end.Any questions please phone or email me within 2 days of auctions end.PLEASE CHECK OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE GREAT DEALS

This guy has 677 items running on 3 day listings. And he knows nothing about what he's selling ! Amazing isn't it ? Does anyone else smell SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM ?

Check the next page of threads. There is a thread from earlier about this same seller. The title of his 32S Washington listing is identical to the one sold last night by a well known seller.
    US Navy CWO3 retired. 12/81-09/04

    Looking for PCGS AU58 Washington's, 32-63.

OK I put in yet another report to eBay. Of course by the time they act the scam will have pulled in the money and gone. Thanks Proof and sorry for not being more up on what happens around here. Hadn't posted anything here for so long I had to have my password emailed to me ( having forgotten it ).

I got bit in a big Lladro scam a few years back and I can spot phoney boloney sellers from miles away now. There's just this certain aroma to them.
