Coin collecting should be an Olympic Event.

202 countries have sent teams to the Athens summer games. The number of events for the Olympics keeps growing and growing. I suggest a petition be made to the IOC and to the National Olympic Committes to make coin collecting an olympic event (is it more competitive than say rythmic gymnatics?). 1804 dollars and 1933 Saints can be given to IOC members as momentos at the time the petition is presented. Once the petition is approved, teams can be formed from the Registry Set crowd, with grueling competitions within each country to choose members of each national team. Olympic medals for coin collecting events can be MS67 Saints (the gold), PF68DCAM or higher 1964 AH halves (the silver) and MS66 or better Red 1909-S V.D.B. cents (the bronze).

The only rule that must be adopted and never, ever, ever violated will be that competitors over 35 (and less than 35 if your diet consists of soda and Krispy Kreams) are prohibited from wearing speedos during competitions.

Next thing you know, Poker will be one too. If ESPN carries it, it must be a sport, right? image

Sanction...I think you are on to something...I would also submit beer drinkingimage , remote control dexterity, pizza oven shuffleboard and bar-b-queing. Let's bring these games into the 21st century. And for the "little ladies" competitive suntanning and pool rafting.image
