Quick Question: PSA Cases Protect Cards from Sun's UV?

I have some cards near a window and I am concerned if they can be affected by the suns light? Does PSA cases protect the cards from this.

Thanks
Patrick.

    Patrick,

Get your cards away from the window immediately! Here is some research that I did on this very topic.

It's okay so long as you put sunscreen on them. If your cards have dark backgrounds, you don't have to worry so much, but fair-backgrounded cards burn more easily, especially at higher elevations. For my cards I use SPF 30.

Hey, don't laugh. A couple of weeks ago someone was smearing peanut butter on his cards.

Someone--I forget who--suggested using peanut butter to remove sticker residue from card holders. I don't know what kind of mind thinks of trying that, but you know, I tried it, and it actually works. Of course then you have to get the peanut butter residue off, but that's a little easier.

Lest anyone take the sunscreen idea seriously--please don't!

For those of you who do not do the laundry of small children, peanut butter is a well known solvent for many things sticky.
