ANACS grades in, waiting for PCGS and NGC

I posted the investment grade coins that I bought from Bruce Amspacher in the early 80's a few weeks ago. They were all raw and I sent them in for grading. I sent the more valuable ones to PCGS and NGC and the rest to ANACS. Just received the ANACS grades.

Did you send the 85-CC to PCGS? I hate to say it, but it looks like the 85-CC has PVC. When do you expect the coins back from PCGS?

By the way, the 80-S you have in the second directory looks like a 67 to me. That is a beauty.

The grades came back as per Bruce's grades for the most part. Had one +1 and one -1. And the 85CC did go to PCGS. IF it does get bagged due to PVC, will acetone and re-submit.

Thank you, I agree that it has a good shot at 67. I think that the 79S in the first list also has a shot at 67.

OK, if you have any questions about getting PVC off let me know.

I believe the 79-S was the one you posted a while back. It's a nice coin, looks like a 66 to me. That small amount of chatter in the left field is going to keep it out of a 67 holder IMO.
