Did you know that for the last several weeks that Jeter has been playing with a broken bone in his hand? Even so, he has a 14 game hitting streak and will probably end up hitting .300+ after his miserable start.

I love the ballplayer in him,he would have let them stitch him up and send him back up to bat in that Boston series if they let him.He plays with every ounce of strength that God gave him and then some.

Another thing that has been noticed this year is that he has a career low OBP but he's still getting it done.
