Has anyone seen this holder before?

Saw this on ebay recently. Why are all of this companies trying to get into the coin holdering business? Is there a professional or collector that realy wants their coins holdered by "Joe's coin slab service".

Hey, they forgot the "proximal relationship of existing price guide dynamics" crap.

That's the first time I have seen that holder. Very strange looking. I could not find anywhere in the listing where she talks about the slabbing service name/location/etc.

That line cracks me up every time. image

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • Looks like that MCCS Grading Company is lucky finding all those MS 70 coins!

This holder was talked about on the boards about a month or so ago.

Although I have no opinion on the service, I like the slab. Really cool

Yes, Millenium Coin Certification Service. (And yes Millenium is spelled that way on the slab.) It has been discussed here before, the company is privately owned by a dealer and not the one in the linked auction but I can't recall his name at the moment. The slabs are the same type of hard plastic like that used by NGC, TruGrade nd some of the other firms. And the slab is sonicly welded like the major firms.

Interesting comparison. More than a little irony there.
