Shylock was kind enough to send me a macro lens that he no longer needs for my camera... a HUGE thank you is in order to him! Now, a test picture:

All I did was resize it... the unresized image is 2272 pixels wide (2.84 times wider and taller)

It's a micro lens for the Nikon Coolpix 4500 (and the earlier models)--it uses a ring adapter for the lens size, so I think it can be used with a variety of cameras.
