Huge gift from Heritage today....

I'm minding my own business today sitting at home (out or work but making progress) and the Fedex truck pulls up and drops off a huge box. I was expecting nothing. Opened the boax and there's a hardbound 100 Greatest Coins book inside. Not sure what this effort cost but really appreciate the effort from Heritage. In all sincerity (this is going to sound trite), what a thoughtful thing to do! They do a lot for the collecting community....I use their archives all the time (one of the best sources of price there is). Nice work Heritage.

Who else got one. I wouldn't say that I've been a gigantic consigner or buyer - steady but small potatoes.

The only coins I've won at Heritage auctions are Two Cent Pieces. Last time I checked they weren't considered moderns.

I got the same book from Northeast Numismatics. Great folks. Now you can see the Judd 1776 that I'm using as my icon. I think it's an amazing looking coin. Too bad the couldn't make them AND Saints!!!

They know their customers and recognize them accordingly. I did quite a bit of business with them about three years back and received similar items. They also continue to treat me well to this day.

my buddy got the book too. turn near the back. there's a page where heritage blabs about how they've handled like 99.97% of the coins in the top 100 list, or something like that.

I'm sitting here in Florida, feverishly moving everything inside to prepare for the hurricane (that now looks like it will miss us--I sincerely pity anyone who is in its path), when the poor Fed Ex guy comes to the door in a driving rain shower to deliver my copy of this book. As soon as I can, I shall open it and eagerly look for the picture of the AH JFK that must be there because obviously it must be one of the 100 greatest coins! ( )

I once bought a $20 Lincoln from Heritage and they didn't send me no darn book!

I was on vacation for over a week and got a Fedex delivery attempt. Since Fedex attempted delivery 3 times I need to pick it up. I called Fedex, they said it was from Heritage. Now I know what it is. Guess I should go get it.

Wow, what a nice book and nice gesture by Heritage. Class act IMO. Now if the elctricity will just stay on here in FL, I'll flip through the pages and see how many of the 100 Greatest U.S. Coins I own.
