My guess is the 20-S will bring $350,000 with BP and the 30-S $175,000. I'm still trying to figure how the 30-S graded ms66 with that hit on the obverse? 30-S

I think you are right on with the 20-S. My guess on the 30-S is 200K. The cut is so prevalent on the late dates...they can be absolutely phenomenal with "liquid" fields yet still have a bag mark or two because they never left the mint bags...I have a 1930 ms66 and it has 2 smaller cuts. They just accept them...but if you saw the coin you would see why it's a 66! Looks like it was struck yesterday!!

    Thanks for the reply.image

  • image Yes There A Lot Of Saint Collectors Out There. Most Collect As Type Coins. They Have A Tendency To Hoard The Key Dates As A Type Coin !!
I Have Always Liked This Coin. It Is One Of The Best, Along With:
Walking Liberty, Winged Liberty Dimes, And Buffalo 5 Cent Pieces.
It Rivals Any Coin That Was Ever Minted For Beauty !!
