What Point Card Stock will PSA grade up to?

Any help would be appreciated, i am looking to grade a few Ultimate memorabilia 4th Edition Rookie Auto's and want to make sure they will fit within the PSA holder.

Thanks for the help.

I think it stinks that they don't grade these super thick patch cards or some of the newer thick cards. In my opinion, they're just losing money rejecting them and refunding the grading fee. If they can cater to different sizes from tobacco to modern, why not do something for thickness? There are a lot of new sets that are super thick and it's becoming the norm.

Im thinking it may have something to do with the encapsulation process. Maybe the "machine" cant handle it "yet" and the demand would not justify "upgrading"/creating a new one/attachment. Making a plastic holder is/should be no problem.

You may be right - but there are significant start-up costs to re-engineer the holder in such a way that it is thicker, but the card does not move around too much. If cards continue to be produced in this way -- I'm sure that they will pursue that angle. Some of the other grading companies have seen significant problems with cards being damaged inside the holder - and it's not clear that they could just make one new holder that would accomodate all super-thick cards....

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
