Oldest Commerative Silver Coin?

This is the oldest Commerative Silver that I have.
This Silver Denarius was minted for the Roman Ceasar Trajan in 109AD to commerate the opening of the Via Trajana highway in Rome.
On the reverse it shows the Via Trajana across the bottom. All the regular Ceasar stuff on the obverse.
The Romans used a special hand cart with a complex gear mechanism to measure off 1 unit (like a mile) marks all along the road, starting with 1 in Rome and ending
way out at the end of the road with XX number of units. They had to put up mileage markers by decree so you would know accurately how far from Rome you were.
This measuring device was a feature on the Discovery channel a couple of weeks ago.
I actually bought this from a guy who had a little coin shop in San Marino when I was in Italy several years ago.
Ah, San Marino, very nice place.image
