I hate that. I found the pause button right away, and whenever I open one of his auctions I pause that thing before I even look at the coin. The first couple of times it scared the crap out of me!!!!

Perhaps I am in the minority, but I think it is a clever use of a sound file. Of course, I am sure it will get annoying if more auctions use this trick.
