"New pricing and low buy now 1 day only !!!"

Michael - Wow - $3,495 buy it now which you ran for many days reduced to $1,895 opening bid and $2,295 BIN overnight!! I guess it does pay to wait on ebay

I suspect this specimen is being sold WELL UNDER your prior sale(s) prices. Someone may be happy! And, as a courtesy to you, I will not relist my coin that is also available and was (IMHO) "market priced" yesterday before pricing on this neat state quarter date changed today. Good luck image

    Mitch,
Auction was doing fine until another of these hard to come by coins popped up on the bay. With a short listing to boot. a little out of the norm? With which I assume the proper pricing? My auction had no chance so it was shut down and restarted to be competitive. looks like there are others who can provide big coins. I do recall a PM to you with your thoughts on pricing with no answer. Thanks for your courtesy of not re-listing. off to make the next big coin.
    Best Regards, Michael

One day auction did not work. Hint all caps writing and poor quality pictures hamper chances of success. Even on eBay the high quality coins need a quality listing.

Thanks for your input on our listing. We will be changing our listing format over the next few weeks.
  • Mitch weren't you selling these for as much as $4,250 in the not too distant past? Have prices really come down that much?

Jon: Not to hijack Michael's thread (so, if you want to follow up on this, we should probably do it via PM) - but, this was sort of my original comment here. Earlier in the week, there was a BIN on the coin at around $3500 (and a reserve of around $2,500 or so). I do not disagree that was a reasonable bottom line asking price for the coin for the seller. Michael is, of course, free to ask anything he wants for his coin. He can give it away for free in a contest today if he desires image

And, yes, I am aware of a few trades on this particular state quarter in the $4k-$5k range. The coin is a very difficult coin to locate in the lofty grade of PCGS-MS68 and I believe even with the new coins recently slabbed, there are only around a dozen or even fewer ever graded MS68 to date.
