Okay, Let's hear it for ME!!!

Friends, Family and all who read this board-
I finally received my last card to complete the 1934 Batter up set in all graded form. I just got back my grades from PSA today to find that #85 Goose Goslin graded a whole PSA 2. I am currently looking for upgrades and this will be my next project for the set. I would like to thank Jeff at LuxuryWines, Brian Drent, Paul Cohen, Legacy, David Burman, Jason Badovic, my homie Levi and Jimmy. I am sure I have left someone out and I thank you I just am so excited I can't remember.
I would not like to thank Davalillo for helping me..... I gave you many cards for your 119 sets, but yet you could not throw me one bone. Thanks Jim....
Thanks to Paul Starks for having a PSA 7 Pie Traynor at a show and then it mysteriously disappear, then not having the stones to let me know for one year.
Thanks to all of the board members here that helped me finish this exhausting set. I will list those who helped me from this board in order by importance so you can appreciate their support for me.

Can you put me on the list I was secretly providing you support in a spiritual sense, burning incense and chanting Mantras when the moon was in its proper alignment. I think thats worth at least spot #13.

I feel slighted that I wasn't mentioned at #21. Not sure why you stopped at 20. But remember this
my support was by not starting this set due to lack of interest. For if I cared you would of paid much
    more for your cards.

    Sincerely,

Shane: Pulling all the punches, huh?

Are you angry primarily because it is such a difficult set to collect? OR are you being facetious or a cynic? Just curious. Congratulations at any rate - it is a hugely difficult set.

So, minus Davalillo's token few - who has all the 7s and 8s from this set. Do you know?

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

MS- Just joking around. This was a much more difficult set than I imagined. The two big collectors with 60% of the PSA 8's are Paul Cohen and Don Luchious. Davilillo has 7, I have 11, and others have a handful here and there. My goal is to have an all PSA 7/8 set now.

    Aknot-Thanks for the spiritual support.
Yawie- Keep up the good work
Aconte- I was going to put you there at 20, but you lost out in the end.

  • Way to go Shane. When nothing needs to be done....I will continue to be your man.

Are you keeping it or selling it?

BoSox- I am going to keep it. This was a bear to complete.
Thank you Dave for the beautiful shot of me with King Kelloggs' crown on top and the bling, bling.

Thanks. People who know me know that I am very sarcastic. My challange for two years is complete and now I can relax and spit shine my set to perfection. I am very thrilled though.

  • Congrats! The batter ups are cool. Are going to publish a poster to go along with the 64 stand ups? LMK if you have any of the stand ups left. I recall you sold the set.

Shane - nice job on the 1934 Batter ups.
Glad I couldn't be of any help, but think nothing of it, the pleasure was mine.

Also, enjoyed the comments you took the time to add
to your 1971 Topps Greatest Moments set, now how about some scans ? image
