Greetings again...

Just getting started here. I have the 6th highest set of Saints...only 87% but the second highest GPA. The competition is getting very rich! Any Saint guys/gals here?

  • Welcome. Yes, there are a number of big fish out there. It seems like every other week I learn of a new player in the high stakes Lincoln game.

Just wait until ANA...some HUGE coins and everyone is a buyer. This could be the blowout of the year by a mile. Prices are still screaming.

You are the Saint guru (welcome, by the way...) yet have a $10. )albeit, a Pattern) Avatar.

Guess again my friend. That is the Judd 1776 pattern, which was an alternative design to Liberty on the St. G $20...it had the eagle on the reverse with the date. There is only ONE of these, owned by a "prominent Eastern collector". Pretty cool?? image

That is definitely cool! Now, why can't the Mint come out with designs like this for our current coinage?!

Because it is an unwrtten law that no coinage can have any artistic merit whatsoever. Man, look at what was around in 1907/08!! And then Buffalo nickles after that...beautiful coins. Now we like dead presidents on everything we spend. How about a Nixon 4 cent piece??image
