19th century proofs! (Are these normal? Proof people...HELP!)

I have been researching some older proof coins and I am amazed at how PRETTY some of these things are. I have seen a few barber quarters that absolutely GLOWED amber! WOW! Tell me, does this look normally come on old proofs? If so, I might have just found a new collecting desire!!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

Some of the most beautifully toned coins are proofs from the 1800's. I hope you have a fat wallet.image
