Nice coin....nice colors.....if $70 is what you paid for it, then its worth $70 to you and thats really all that matters.

I have paid less for similar coins and more for similar coins, its an individual thing man, not just what book value or ebay values say.

  • I'm not a toned Morgan specialist, but I'd offer you $70 for that one! I like it.

It doesn't take an expert to know that coin is worth $70.image I love the purples and greens.

Edited to add; That coin is a MS65 plus.

I would Bid 95 for the color who cares about the 62 grade image

Looks like a $200 flavor morgan to me. Could be more or less depending on how full the luster and how vivid the colors are compaired to the pic.

Grade matters little to me on toned morgans. It's all eye appeal... with a little bonus if it's a MS65.

Guys: Here's the story -- the coin was up for auction tonight on E-Bay, and I was considering puchasing it when the price was in the mid- $50's -- then within 3 minutes of closing a couple of E-Bayers got into a bidding war and bid the coin up to $98... So I passed on it.

I opened this thread with the expectation of seeing some textile-toned piece that looked like it had psychedelic clown vomit on it.

I was pleasantly surprised to see something I actually liked.

Rob: I agree and personally find these ligher pastel colors are more pleasing than the more typical bright or dark colored toning.

It's beautiful! Photo's are of course decieving, but that one also looks pretty good for the grade.

I'd buy it for $70 and not more than $120 so I think it's a very nice coin.
