Yep! Remember that one, Russ? I posted a pic of it here after I got it. I am amazed it got that high. The 68DC half is also a good score but not as high. Any idea as to the market value of the quarter? I am probably going to call PCGS tomorrow to change the insurance arrangements.

I don't track pricing on the SMS quarters as closely as I do the Kennedys, but I'd WAG somewhere between $200 and $250; a little higher if the right two bidders came along. BTW, the half is in the $60 range.

That's the beauty of moderns. Try doing that with "classic" coins.

I just scored two 1967 Jeffersons in MS67DCAM pulled from sets I paid $14.50 for.

True, and it is darn hard to find top notch moderns. Those 73 quarters I thought would go for 67. And the half was one of the best I've seen of that date. Obviously I missed something.
