While not a big hockey fan myself, looking at that set, it's obvious the owner takes a ton of pride in his collection. Big congrats, looks like there was probably a good amount of tracking down some rare cards there.

Where does this man find the time to collect cards I wonder? I mean, isn't he busy running a small private island these days? image

Nonetheless, it makes his achievement that much more impressive! image

Congrats to Tom- I'm sure with his other recent endeavours he has little time for stuff like this, which makes the achievement all the greater. Well done!

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

Awesome collection. I'm only one card away from completing my Football HOF RC set...Can't wait to see that 100% complete beside my name as well..

    Great job, Tom

    Tom-
Great job. Maybe someday you will come over to the 1971 Topps Greatest moments side. image Just wait until I finish my set in all PSA 8's.

    Congrats-

Looking for high grade rookie cards and unopened boxes/cases
  • Don't do it Tom, something weird happens to you when you start collecting that set.

Go for it Tom- I've heard Shane's GM's often bump up a grade after he sells them!

  • Thanks guys. Although I hit 100% on this set I kinda feel like I haven't even started it yet. Basically, reaching 100% marks the end of Phase I of my plan. Phase II is to upgrade the heck out of it, which will be a life long journey. Needless to say, there's a few Canadian Nationals in my future image

I have one question (and I believe I saw a thread on this in the past few months)....... does anybody know why the majority of owners comments would continually be deleted? I have updated them time and time again with POP report and rookie card information only see the comments deleted. It takes a hell of a lot of time, but adds to the enjoyment for folks viewing the sets. I hate to abandom that feature.

    Tom....

    First things first, Congratulations!!

    Secondly, about owners comments disappearing.....

I have had the same problem. I contacted BJ about it. She said no one is purposely deleting comments and she thinks it is a 'bug' in their system (her words). She is watching my 1959 set to see if it randomly happens again. I would recommend that you email BJ and let her know that it is happening to you too. She was going to try to figure out why comments are just randomly disappearing.
