Acceptable size variance of cards

I was just wondering how much smaller than the standard 2 1/2"x3 1/2" can a card be and still be graded by PSA. The reason I ask is that I have a well-centered Nm-Mt+ '61 Houk that is about 1/32" short top to bottom. I looked at all the edges under 10x magnification and they all look exactly the same and have that slightly rough look to them. So I'm pretty sure this card hasn't been trimmed, it just came from Topps short. Is 1/32" within PSA's sizing tolerance if there is no evidence of trimming?

I'd suggest submitting the card to PSA quickly! I have done some research on vintage cards and size differences, and I've concluded that 1/32" is acceptable (but borderline). I have cards that measure even less in PSA holders, but 1/32" seems to be about the limit.
Even if it comes back N-6 (minimum size), you aren't out too much. It's worth the gamble, considering the card has sold for over $1000 several times in the past few months.
