They were minted for Belguim during the Allied Occupation post WW II. Yep, they used left over 1943 steel blanks.
25,000,000 were minted in Philadelphia.

Looking for 1967 PCGS/NGC slabbed coins.
The design features the word "Belgium" in the two natonal laguages French and Flemish along with an American Star and olive branch.
Cool coin.
coin was used extensively but only briefly so AU versions abound. It is not especially
tough in unc but gems are surprisingly hard to locate.
When we are planning for posterity, we ought to remember that virtue is not hereditary.
