1946 Roosie dime roll sealed in clear tube since 1963

Has the date on the taped on the side of the roll 2-63///// should i open it to see whats inside or leave it sealed and sell it on Ebay? the coins look very white!! mmmmm

    Open it if you can and put them in a new holder. Many of the old holders shrink up and entomb the coins. mike

    Somebody opened a bankwrap roll to put it in that tube all those years ago. From a profit stand point, the only coins within that are worth slabbing are coins that would grade MS67FB (or better)......MS67's are not nor are MS66FB coins. Take it from someone that's looked thru alot of rolls, chances of finding anything isn't very good -BUT, you never know. I not-to-long-ago, went thru 7 rolls of 1954P coins like yours, sealed in tubes long ago. In one roll, I found a coin that graded MS67FB that I sold for $600. There was not even a second coin in the roll that would grade MS65FB - all typical MS63-64 grade coins - but for that one coins I found, I made out big. And that's the tempting thing about opening rolls. I've probably opened 500 rolls and found probably 5 coins worthy of submitting...that's about 1 coin out of every 4000 I've looked at..........
