  • I use my personal space provided by AOL and post a link to it. Like this...

    .image

  • OK....how do I do that?
  • Mh,you must first photoshop your pic to be smaller than 50.Should'nt have any trouble after that.
  • And just incase, how to post a link:

When I try, I just get "error, unable to upload ". I asked for help in an earlier thread to this forum and some of the more experienced posters were very helpful. I've tried everything. Created new folders, moved folders, renamed folders, down sized images, nothing works. It could very well be something I'm doing or not doing. I give up. My son-in-law, who maintains a web site, uses my computer sometimes. I'm hoping he can help me. Very frustrating !! Sorry I couldn't help, just my 2 cents. image

  • Then the file size is more than likely larger than 50 kilobytes. You can check this by right-clicking the image file on your PC and clicking Properties. You'll get something like this:

    Size: 29.6 KB (30,406 bytes)

50 kB is equal to 51,200 bytes, so it cannot be larger than that.

Guys, try IrfanView at cnet free downloads. It takes a little playing with it to get the pics under 50k, but works well, especially the resize image part. Or use Photobucket.com and upload your pics for free, then just copy and paste right into the thread. Both are free!!
