Ever hear of an ebay seller waiting for a postal mo to clear?

This just happened to me for a second time. The seller, who has very good feedback, promised overnight shipping and didn't deliver, which is why I'm ticked. Should I be, or is there really a need to wait for a postal money order to clear? I've never heard of a counterfeit postal mo and I always ship right away when I receive them.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

    they are either jerking you around on the
    shipment dates and said that as an excuse
    or
    they really are that dumb!
    (I would guess the later in most cases)

    you can stop payment on a money order. i don't do this full time so i usually try to ship as soon as i recieve payment but sometimes life gets in the way. i would not worry about it that much.

    did he mean that u would get it the next day? if so then I imagine you paid for that luxury? if so id ask for a refund of some sort.

    promised overnight shipping and you payed by money order. how do/did you know when he got it?

    Very clever scammers have forged money orders. But in this case, with a postal MO, it can be cashed right in the post office. That's what I do when I get paid with a small to middling one.

    yup, money orders can be fake too.

    One seller actually told me that a money order, or bank check, could have a stop payment placed on it?
