I assume these are bogus auctions?

Listed this morning by two separate sellers (wink, wink - they were clearly written by the same person) with long dormant accounts. Both require pre authorized bidders and are listed with BIN well below SMR.

The 1956 set is listed by a seller in Temecula - about 20 minutes from me - so I sent the following message:

<< <i>I am definately interested in this set. I am in Riverside. Is there somewhere we could meet for me to see the entire set and pay you in person? >>

Another 1 day auction, with pre approved bidders, with BINs well under SMR. Seems to be the latest ebay scam.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

  • hmmmm only 4.11pm. what's on the tube tonight?

Yes it's the same "clever" scammer who hijacks accounts from people foolish/naive enough to supply all their account information and passwords from a fraudulent e-mail. Ebay and PayPal have warned people numerous times about how not to give out account information from any e-mail. As for this scammer who operates from Russia, Nigeria or some other crime-ridden country and I hope is reading this, come out with something new you pathetic piece of sh*t, you're starting to get boring with the same scam week after week.
