Coins like this are bargains!

Here's a coin in auction that appears to be a superior example with nice eye appeal. 1847's tend to come with flashy, semiprooflike surfaces that have some striations and thus nice mint bloom. Note the price estimate... not too bad when the next step up costs some $50k!

Just like to point out that it's not my coin, nor do I know who owns it - just using it as an example of what I feel is a good buy in the marketplace. Here's another. The quality of this coin is apparent, even with Heritage's propensity to put forth drab images:

Yeah, my thoughts too... I remember recently looking at a Half-Disme on Heritage, and the first set of pictures made it look really bright and lustery (Though it was a circ piece) which really wasn't too appealing to me, but the in-slab pics showed it as being a dark original grey coin... Which one was correct? The 2nd set of pictures showed a more desirable coin to me...
