so i figure im gonna test him,sent like 500 bucks worth of product basically on approval,day after he gets the merch,i get a wire transfer for a grand !

essentially he over paid me 500 to be applied against a future transaction.

Are you sure he didn't pay $1000 in Canadian money? That's only worth 35 cents on the dollar, so in reality, he only sent you $350 for $500 worth of merchandise.
