Wax Grading

I have a few 70's basketball wax boxes that I would like to get graded by GAI. Does anyone know if GAI grades the box with the packs inside or do they grade the packs separately and grade an empty box. If GAI does both, which is the better way to go? Thanks for your answers.

Yes, GAI will grade the box with the packs still inside or they will grade the packs and box individual, what ever you request and are willing to pay for. If your looking to sell these after they are graded then get everything graded individual! You will realize more profit if you sell them pack by pack than if you sell just a full graded box, people like to see what there getting and some people can't afford to buy a whole box but they may be able to buy a couple of packs.
Just something to think about.

Also, I should have said that if these are late 1970's Basketball boxes like 1977/78-1979/80 then it would be cheaper on you to just get the whole box graded with the packs inside becouse you will not realize much of a profit on these after paying for the grading becouse these packs sell cheap even in graded form ($10-$30 each in high grade). If you have 1976/77 "Tall Boy" packs or older then do yourself a favore and get them all graded individual.
**(NOTE)** I do not clame to be a pack expert but i have bought and sold over 120 GAI graded packs in all sports.
I hope this helps.
