Larry Bird 24k Gold Limited Edition Retirement Coin
FOR SALE - A Celtics Legend Limited Edition Retirement 24K Solid Gold Coin, Registration No. 078 that was created by Balfour from the same die use to strike the official tribute coin presented to Larry Bird on February 4, 1993 in Boston Garden.
It includes: solid gold coin in plastic protective covering, certificate of authenticity, a Larry Bird's Pro Career Highlights 1979-1992 pamphlet (that has a brief history), very nice carrying/storing case, and a carrying box.
This is an excellent piece of Celtics memorabilia. There were only 500 of these ever made and 33 were given to Larry Bird signifying his number. The rest were put out there for auction and sold for $1000 over 10 years ago.
