Cooking my Morgan

I was set up to take some pictures under a binocular microscope, and the phone rang. I went to answer the phone and it was from Citibank. I sat down to talk to them for about 20 minutes and stayed in front of the computer to answer emails for another 10 minutes. I forgot I left the lamps on on the setup. When I went back, the Morgan dollar in the PCGS holder was too hot to touch and it looks like I melted the inserts inside. The holder itself seems no worse for the wear. It didn't get that hot, but I hope the coin will be alright now that the insert seems to be melted around it. It's not too bad one way or the other. The coin is at most $100~$150, and the amusement value to me is greater than the coin value.
So.... Don't leave your coins under some hot lamps.... It'll melt the inserts....
I wonder what PCGS will think if I sent the coin to be re-holdered and they crack out the slab and the coin has the plastic insert melted around it.
Is that stuff easy to get off? Anyone know?
