Anyone have any info on this coin?

Well, I can see I'm gonna have to get a 19th century Krause so I don't have to bugg you folks so often.
So here it is. What is it ,and are those die cracks? What's it made out of? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I edited this, because I had the wrong opinion of what it was.

I guess I need to get a 19th Century Krause World Coin book, too.

Austrian 5/10 Kreuzer, copper 1.60g. The pictures in Krause aren't that great, but IMO it's KM#2183, the "small eagle" version; but it might be KM#2184, the "large eagle" version. 1885 was the transition year, so comparison with the 1858-81 small eagles, or the 1891 large eagle would be the easiest way to differentiate.

It's pretty tough to tell from the picture, but the cracks seem to be incuse, which argues for post-strike damage. A die crack would normally cause a raised line.

    KM#2183: 75¢ F/$1.50 VF/$3 XF/$7 Unc.
    KM#2184: 50¢ F/$1 VF/$2 XF/$5 Unc.

  • Thanks guys! BTW the crack is a raised ridge. I noticed this with my 30x loupe,as the picture isn"t very good to tell by.
