Kinda...We live near QVC, and my mom picked it up for x-mas at their discount store. (Where they keep coins they do not sell) .Its 2001-p, experimental finish CH Brilliant UNC by Global *shudder* It is relatively mark free, with a purrdy brown color.

I am not sure of the value, but they do carry a premium. I believe that it needs to be in one of the big three holders...NGC, PCGS or ANACS otherwise it could be a fake. Just my oppinion to be taken with a grain of salt.image
  • I think the 2001's carry a small premium - I've seen them go for $50-$80 depending on the grade. There are also 2000's (transition "error") that are more rare.

I don't believe the "big 3" will attribute "experimental rinse" SEGS does and most of the ones I have seen are in SEGS holders. (Global does also)

    I pulled a 2000 P from a roll and sent it to SEGS - MS66

The coins in Global (GCS) are genuine. I have one of them. For mine, in a Global slab, I paid $15.00 for it.

However, I have one that is graded MS66 by SEGS that I might have over paid for.

The one in the GCS slab is worth well more than the $15.00 I paid for it.
  • The original discovery was sold by Byers Numismatics for a premium:

I remember when Mike was selling those. The MS67 coins went pretty quick as I recall.
