It wasn't me -- I'm just doing proofs.

    Hey Al,
What would one of them sell for? Not that I might make oneimage

    hey Marty

said as gently as i can say it, you haven't convinced me that you have Jefferson grading mastered yet, and the mint state coins are harder to grade than the proofs. besides, with this date it isn't necessarily being able to accurately grade the coin once you find it, the trick is in even finding it.

    Al,

I had bids in on this one and a 47-D MS66FS from the same seller. Emailed a request to lower the $15. S/H to $10. They agreed. Next thing I know, they're both pulled from auction!

Emailed seller again to find out what was up and haven't gotten a response.

Betcha someone made them an offer they couldn't refuse off eBay. Illegal as he**, but how to prove? Can't!

Hopefully we'll see soon enough. PCGS is running a little behind on this order.

    hey Marty

last year i almost bought a Mint sealed $200 bag of this date but decided the 50% premium was just to high. i mean, where would i get rid of 100 rolls?? considering the pop's for early 60's nickels, 1962 is common in full steps!!image yet i still can't find one.

I have an ANACS graded 1962 Doubled Die Reverse in MS64FS, I'll link the picture since it's huge. Looking at my close-up pics of the steps, I don't see any way NGC pr PCGS would give it the FS designation.

I do agree with whoever said it above, of all the early 1960s Jeffs, 1962 is the easiest to find with decent steps. "Easiest" being a relative term in this case.
